ACADEMIC ALTERNATIVES

College Study

CIB does not offer any courses. Students may apply to take the professional development program directly at any participating Community College. Refer to the College's calendar for course selection and individual College policies with respect to course requirements. A minimum grade of 65% must be obtained. Students are not required to write any other exams.

University Courses

Although most courses in the professional development program are at a Community College level, courses taken at a recognized Canadian university are also eligible for credit.

On-line Courses

Students can take the professional development program on-line. Okanagan University College in British Columbia and OntarioLearn in Ontario offer all of the CIB equivalent courses on-line. Other Colleges also offer various courses.

Foreign Credits

CIB does not have the facility to evaluate foreign transcripts. You should have an evaluation completed by your local Community College.
